Annunciation Orthodox School

CORE Design Studio was asked by the client to extend its services to their middle school. The scope was to create didactic moments in their stairwells and ceiling “portals” in the hallways of their three-story building. We as a studio wanted to incorporate the extensive donor recognition graphics concept of the star chart and constellations from the client’s lower school building and apply it in a new way. My colleague and I merged our portal sketches together to create this celestial-inspired graphic with quotes that speak of the school’s PHILOTIMO. Which, in Greek, speaks to one’s range of virtues such as kindness, respect, gratitude, and integrity.
